Winery Chateau Cana from Lebanon
Fadi Gerges, a man with a dream to cultivate fertile vineyards, founded a successful winery Château Cana begins in the small village of Ras El Harf located in the middle of the Lebanon mountain. Many families left this reagion in the end of the Lebanese civil war (1975-1990) giving up their fertile land.

Fadi Gerges, a dentist and a committed human rights activist, started a project in the other hand planting vines on the abandoned plots in order to peruade each family of the surrounding 30 villages to reaturn home to their land.
Year after year, he cultivated and harvested the grapes and shared his experiences with the villagers in order to raise their awareness of the winemaking process. And with all his experience over the past years, he developed a profound knowledge the following eight years.
