The state-owned winery Domaine Sahari, founded in 1993, is located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains 600 meters above sea level. (Picture by Raoul Rives).

The vines are cultivated on the prestigious Appellation d'Origine Garantie Guerrouane. This soild grows grapes for excellent cuvées such as "Rouge de Guerrouane" made from Cinsaut, Carignan, Grenache, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah. The also make red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The grapes, carefully picked, destemmed and selected, are fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25°.
