About the winery
Domaine des Tourelles
The winery was founded in 1868 by the French engineer Francois-Eugène Brun, who lived professionally in Lebanon. As the years went by, his son and later his grandson, Pierre Louis Brun, continued to run Weingt un Brennerei with the old, traditional methods almost unchanged. Elie F. Issa had long been a conciliatory friend of Pierre L. Brun, he helped him with the work in the winery and already three years before the death of his friend he took over all the work. Since 2009 Elie's son Faouzi E. Issa is back from his studies in Montpellier and after a longer work experience with René Rostaing and Chateau Margeaux he is the winemaker of Domaine das Tourelles. Together with his sister Christiane and Emilie Issa-el-Khoury, he now manages the family business.
