Arak du Marje from Les Vignes du Marje is an excellent Lebanese anise schnapps, which not only convinces with its aroma, but also seduces with its freshness. A really great arak from Lebanon which is triple distilled and as usual matures for 24 months in clay jugs. The spectrum of aromas varies and unleashes smooth but also intense vegetal nuances such as fennel and fresh forest herbs. Of course, as with other arak varieties, the aroma and taste are dominated by the typical licorice note.
Very light color. Citrus fruits with mineral floral notes in nose with hint of sweet spices and white peach aromas. Refreshing, well balanced acidity with citrus notes in the ends. This wine was part of the lebanese mosaic project, which was developed to preserve indigenous grapes.
Arak Gantous & Abou Raad Extra (0,5l) is a special edition of the legendary Gantous & Abou Raad, made only from the best grapes and distilled up to four times. Produced of of course with the best aniseed as well. The famous Arak has never disappointed its fan community.
Arak Al Jouzour of Riachi is triple distilled Lebanese anise spirit. During the third and final distillation, green Levantine anise is added. The brandy then matures in clay barrels for 6 months and will be plate-filtered to ensure an incomparably smooth taste. The traditional serving method is to mix one third of arak with two thirds of water in a carafe, which then will poured it into a glass filled with ice.
Arak 7 from Batroun Mountains is a special arak from Lebanon, which was made from exactly seven grape varieties. This thus gives the brandy a certain versatility, which is also clearly felt in the aroma. The bouquet is impulsive but also very fine. Furthermore, this aromatic and but very elegant Lebanese arak can be drunk with many dishes.
A bright salmon pink color. On the nose an intense and fruity bouquet, marked with aromas of peaches and pears. On the palate flavors of quince, apples and Seville orange marmalade with a smooth tannin. The finish develops impressions of cranberries with a balanced acidity. Arak Gantous & Abou Raad (0,7l) ist the best selling Arak in Lebanon from one of the older Arak families in Lebanon. This excellent Arak is distilled three times from fermented white grapes and fused with the best aniseed in order to obtain its famous soft taste. A true legend!
Arak Fakra XO is a ver special unique Lebanese Arak. Especially since not every Arak of Lebanon matures seven years in clay jars. Furthermore, the winery prefers a very strict selection of grapes and high quality aniseed. And at last the Schnapps matures in freshly baked clay jars from Beit-Chabab until it maturity. This enables the development of an incomparable taste. This arak Fakra is also one of the best known Lebanese arak varieties outside of Lebanon.
Arak al Rouss is a special, high quality and rare Lebanese arak from the top estate Chateau Florentine. Today, this anise seed schnapps is even one of the rarities in regards to Lebanese arak and very difficult to obtain. This is mainly due to the exceptional quality as well as the small production quantity.
This fresh white wine has a bright green-yellow colour and is rich in minerals. An intensiv scent of pears, tea leaves, lemons and lime in the nose. Fresh and aromatic on the palate with a well-balanced acidity and a round (slightly sweet) finish.
Arak Mechaalany is an insider tip among arak drinkers and made from first-class grapes and aniseed seeds. The Family Mechalany family only produced small quantities and rather focus on the quality of the taste. With its soft and aromatic taste, this schnapps is one of the smoother arak varieties, which can often be drunk solo.
